Nick Costanza  – Government Contract Specialist

Nick has 45 years of high-level experience in full-spectrum Defense Systems Acquisition Management, System Engineering, Program and Financial Management, Life-Cycle Logistics and supportability and sustainment, strategic planning, and management of over 200 DoD and US Navy Weapon System programs across all three Navy Systems Commands and OPNAV and the US Army from concept to full production, in-service.

Manages multiple programs and personnel consisting of acquisition specialists, engineers, analysts, and project management professionals in support of DoD Major Defense Acquisition Management Programs, including ACAT I through ACAT IV programs, Managed the US Navy’s Surface Ship Electronic Warfare and Tactical Cryptology Programs. Successfully accelerated RDT&E of Ship’s Low Observable technology program and secured funding from SECNAV. Managed large staff in Sea-06 Surface Ship domestic and FMS programs.

Developed and managed Impulse Radar technology/weapon program. Managed Electronic Warfare Software Engineering and Life Cycle Support Program. Developed, defended, managed and executed Acquisition programs annual budget of $1 Billion .Coordinated the Research, Development, Test, Evaluation and Acquisition of numerous US Navy weapons systems. Successfully planned, developed, defended and executed an annual budget in excess of $1Billion. Developed and delivered numerous presentations and briefings to the highest command levels in military and civilian government, as well as industry, including the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Assistant Secretaries of the Navy, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Senate and Congressional Staff directors/members, and senior military officials on the Chief of Naval Operations staff.
